Junior Technical Support Analyst

G and F Communications Pty Ltd have an opportunity in the Leichhardt area for an Information Technology (Support/Development) employee. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking to gain entry into the IT Industry and you have just completed a Degree or Diploma in an IT related field.

The employee will undertake a wide range of tasks including:

·         Helpdesk - provide good customer service through phone and email support 

·         Office and windows support

·         Web site development

·         Programming in ASP.net, JQuery, Ajax

·         Database management of SQL and Access

·         Updating and installing system and application software

·         Cleaning computer systems

·         Troubleshoot computer hardware software and network problems

·         Product research and evaluation

·         Assisting senior support staff

·         Occasional software/website testing tasks

·         Occasional training assistance

·         Occasional data-entry tasks

·         Administrative tasks

·         Operation and monitoring of Backup-Systems

·         Some travel to client locations around greater Sydney area

Must Have:

·         Genuine interest in a career in the IT Industry

·         Can show examples of web site development and or programming ability

·         Completed a Degree or Diploma in the IT field or like experience

·         Confident communicator, reliable, enthusiastic,

·         Excellent analytical skills, strong numeric and problem solving skills

·         Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

·         Current Driver’s License / reliable transport
